Terms and Conditions

We offer the same quality and service to our online clients as we do our local walk-in clients. Below are excepts from our contract, and by purchasing from us directly online, you are agreeing with these terms and conditions. If you have any questions at all, feel free to contact us.

Delivery of Services/Key Deadlines: Generally, first drafts are submitted within two business days of receiving your order info and payment. Each set of revisions, if needed, is also returned in under two business days. Please keep in mind that we work with many clients, and projects are completed in a first come/first served manner. Of course, we strive to meet all deadlines. If you need something completed by a particular date, be sure to let us know at the start of the project.

Late Fee: Payment in full is made at the time of order placement, therefore there should be no reason for any late fees. However, if there is a remaining balance, it is to be paid 30 days from receipt of the final invoice for the completed project. Finance charges of 2.0% per month (24% annually) may be applied to all overdue balances.

Project Cancellation and Fee: The client shall not unreasonably withhold acceptance of, or payment for, the project. If, prior to completion of the project, the client observes any nonconformance with the design plan, the designer must be promptly notified, allowing for necessary corrections. Rejection of the completed project or cancellation during its execution will result in forfeiture of deposit and additional billing based hourly at $95/hour above the deposit amount. All elements of the project must then be returned to the designer. Any usage by the client of those design elements will result in appropriate legal action. Client shall bear all costs, expenses, and reasonable attorney’s fees in any action brought to recover payment under this contract or in which Bold Print Design Studio may become a party by reason of this contract.

On Hold Policy: We strive to maintain an efficient schedule to complete projects on time for the benefit of our clients. We understand that issues come up and sometimes projects need to be put on hold for a short while. If a project is put on hold for more than 60 days (at no fault of Bold Print Design Studio) then our hourly rate of $95/hr worked on the project to date is required before reinitiating the project. This money will be applied to your existing balance.

Payment Terms: Online orders require payment in full. Contact us for other arrangements.

Defect Claim: Claims for defects, damages, or shortages must be made by the client in writing within a period of fifteen (15) days after delivery of all or any part of the order. Failure to make such a claim within the stated period shall constitute irrevocable acceptance and an admission that they fully comply with these terms, conditions, and specifications.

Final Proofs: We make every effort to proofread your project before it goes to print or is published on the web. However, final editing and proofreading of your project is your responsibility. You will see drafts during the design or development processes. Please take this opportunity to proofread your project thoroughly before it is too late to make any corrections. After you have approved the final proof any and all corrections or reprint charges are your responsibility.

Ownership: Upon full payment, you (the client) shall obtain ownership of the final artwork to use and distribute as they see fit. Bold Print Design Studio retains the right to use the completed project and any preliminary designs for the purpose of design competitions, future publications on design, educational purposes, marketing materials, and our portfolio.

Confidentiality: All correspondence and documents provided will be treated as confidential between the client and the designer unless consent has been granted by both parties involved, or as required by law.
